I m a former software engineer (self-taught) who is currently in school studying Kinesiology. I plan on going to graduate school for Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy. Before starting school, I gained a few years of experience working with disabled children. I decided to pursue OT/PT because I very much enjoy working with disabled populations while having more autonomy to actually make decisions that impact their well being.Despite all of this (and a rocky resume), I still feel like programming is a part of me and is something I find enjoyable as a discipline.Has anyone successfully made a career combining healthcare and software engineering? How did you do it?
