A real dot matrix
Your message is rasterised onto an LED grid — characters land on whole dots, unlit LEDs stay visible, and the text steps one dot at a time like a physical sign.
Two-line signs
Press return in the message box. Each line gets its own band of LEDs and they scroll together, like a station board.
Any language, any emoji
Arabic, Hebrew, CJK, Thai and Hindi all render on the grid. Right-to-left text keeps its direction and emoji keep their colours.
Fullscreen on iPhone
Safari keeps its toolbars. For an edge-to-edge sign, use Share → Add to Home Screen, then open it from the icon.
How to use the LED Scroller
Type your message Put your text in the message box. Press return for a second line and it becomes a two-line sign. Emoji work too.
Pick a preset One tap sets the colour, dot shape and panel height. Everything stays editable afterwards.
Set the colour and size Choose a colour, then drag Text height until the letters fill the panel.
Set the speed and direction Slide the speed where you want it and pick left, right, up or down.
Go fullscreen Press Fullscreen, or tap the panel. Turn the phone and use the 90° rotation for a tall sign you can hold up.
Save or share it Save the sign in this browser, or press Share to copy a link that carries every setting to another device.
What is the LED Scroller?
The LED Scroller is a free LED banner maker that turns any screen into a scrolling LED sign. Type a message and it runs across the display on a real dot matrix panel — the same kind of marquee you see on a bus, a taxi roof or above a shop door.
It is free, it runs in your browser, and there is no app to install and no account to make. Change the colour, speed, size and dot shape, add a clock or a countdown, drop in emoji, and write in any language. Switch to big text and you get one plain, huge message instead of a scrolling one.
