One process. One clear guide.
Create a separate guide for each task, lesson, or support answer. A product, course, or help center can grow into a library of guides.
Product and onboarding
Explain initial setup, account configuration, and one feature workflow at a time.
Support and education
Turn help-center instructions, support answers, and course lessons into guides people can follow step by step.
SOPs and handoffs
Document internal procedures and client handoffs as focused guides.
Choose where the explanation slows down.
A video keeps moving
A regular video explains everything at one fixed pace.
-->
Automatic capture chooses the steps
Auto-captured guides are fast, but they decide which screens become steps.
-->
Screenshots lose the flow
Screenshot documents show isolated states.
-->
Start with a recording, then decide frame by frame where the explanation becomes interactive.
How it works:
Record anywhere, open in FramePin
Use Loom, ScreenStudio, OBS, QuickTime, Zoom, or another screen recorder. Open the result in FramePin, remove mistakes, split sections, and adjust their speed with frame-level control.
Pin the moments that matter
Pause on an exact frame and pin it as a guide step. FramePin preserves the motion between pinned moments, then lets the viewer stop at each step and continue when ready.
Add clear visual instructions
Add a concise title to each step, then guide attention with callouts, arrows, spotlights, zoom, and moving blur . Control their order so each instruction appears when it is needed.
Publish, embed, or share
Publish the interactive guide, embed it with two lines of HTML , or share its standalone link.
Narration is optional. A guide works without it. Keep audio from the original recording, upload your own voice, or generate VoiceOver from step titles when it helps the instruction.
Open the editor
Works in Chrome on desktop
Embed anywhere. Or just share the link.
The guide automatically matches the recording’s aspect ratio, works inside SPA and CMS content, and can use your logo, accent color, controls, and default playback mode. Every published guide also receives a standalone share page. Republish after an edit and the existing link and embed continue to work.
Finish with a clear next step
Add a call-to-action button that sends viewers to your signup page, booking page, documentation, or any other URL.
Views without cookies
See total views and privacy-friendly unique visitors without cookies. Pro also shows how many viewing sessions reached each step.
Blur that follows motion
Keyframed blur regions can follow sensitive information as it moves. The result is rendered into the interactive guide and every exported format.
One guide, four formats.
The interactive guide is the primary result. The same FramePin project can also be exported as MP4, PDF, or screenshots. PDF and screenshot exports stay local and free; Creator and Pro can also publish hosted copies beside the guide.
Interactive guide
A step-by-step guide users can click through at their own pace, embedded on your website or shared with its own link.
MP4 video, up to 4K
Reuse the same project as a standard video with titles, annotations, blur, and narration included.
PDF guide
Export one page per pinned step for documentation, client handoffs, or a LinkedIn carousel. Creator and Pro can also publish a compressed copy beside the guide.
Screenshots
Export every pinned frame as PNG or WebP with its annotations included. Creator and Pro can also publish optimized WebP copies at stable per-step links.
Your original recording stays local.
Editing runs in Chrome on your computer. The original recording and local exports are not uploaded. When you publish an interactive guide, FramePin uploads only the generated step media and the metadata needed to serve it.
Create for free. Pay when you publish.
Build and preview locally without an account. A 14-day trial unlocks publishing; paid plans set your live-guide and monthly publishing limits. PDF and screenshot exports stay free, while Creator and Pro can also publish hosted copies beside each guide.
